Cedar Rapids, Iowa - February 28th, 2008 - The Iowa Educator's Consortium (IEC) has partnered with Microsoft and e-academy Inc. to give K-12 students and teachers in the state of Iowa access to discounted software. Several popular software titles are available including full versions of Microsoft Office and Windows Vista.
The software has been made available through the Microsoft Student Select program, which allows the academic community access to personal, home use software licenses at up to an 85 percent savings.

Autodesk offers a wide-range of software bundles, with annual licenses starting at $99.00 (perpetual licenses are also available for $199.00); a considerable savings from its standard retail price.
