Ram Raju, President & CEO
President and founder of e-academy Inc., with over 25 years of experience in the software license management industry. Ram spent 12 years at Dalhousie as a professor of information systems, running the computing department and managing the university computer store. In 1995, Ram went on to become a vice-president at the Canadian Association of Campus Computer Stores. Two years later, in 1997, he founded e-academy Inc. Ram is also a member of the board of directors of Telefilm Canada, and sits on the board of directors of SimplyCast.com, a leading online multi-channel marketing solution. Ram has three degrees from Dalhousie University: a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Science, and a Master of Business Administration.
Richard White, Vice President & COO
Richard has more than 30 years of experience in technology companies. He was formerly CEO of Elliptic Technologies, Solidum and Accelerix and acted as a contract CEO to Intelligent Photonics Control and Spectalis. Richard began his career as a semiconductor engineer during the early days of Mitel and moved on to a variety of senior management roles with NovAtel Communications, Extreme Packet Devices and Enhance Systems. He has also provided consultant services to a number of technology companies, including Seaway Networks, Wavesat and Ad Opt. Richard holds a B. Eng Electrical Engineering from Carleton University and an Executive MBA (PMD60) from Harvard University.
Brad Brohman, Vice President, Marketing & Sales
Brad has over 20 years of experience in strategic ventures, both in private and public sectors. He is a former director of the Canada Student Loans Program and also served as Governance Advisor at Sustainable Development Technology Canada; a not-for-profit organization that manages a $1 billion investment fund directed at emerging clean technologies. Brad has also held senior advisory positions with the British Columbia provincial government, including acting as a strategic policy and legal advisor to both Cabinet and the Office of the Premier. Brad graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in Political Science and received his LLB from Queen's University.

Bill is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SimplyCast (a leading online multi-channel marketing solution), who has recently been inducted into the Nova Scotia Business Hall of Fame. He was the Chairman and CEO of Scotia Bond Ltd. and has served on various company boards including Empire Company Ltd., Sobeys Inc., Keltic Inc., DHX Media Ltd. and King Insurance.
Brian MacEachen, Board Member
Brian is the Executive Vice President and Secretary of Brigus Gold Corp and has served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Linear Gold Corp. and Linear Metals Corporation. Prior to this, Brian has held senior positions with Franco-Nevada Mining Corporation and Aur Resources Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University.
Patrick Keefe, Board Member
Patrick has diverse experience as an angel investor and seasoned entrepreneur. As Vice President, Investment at Innovacorp, he is currently focusing on early stage venture capital investments in the tech and cleantech sectors. Prior to this, he was a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, principal at Atlas Venture and most recently was a co-founder of Coffee Vision Atlantic Inc. Patrick received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently lives in Halifax with his wife and three children.
